Merchant Application Fee Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms govern the payment and submission process for merchant applications to CITADEL RISK AND COMPLIANCE LIMITED (“CRAC.Solutions”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By submitting an application or paying the application fee, the Applicant agrees to these Terms in full.

2. Non-Refundable Application Fee

A non-refundable Application Fee is required before submission or review. It covers administrative, compliance and due-diligence costs. Payment does not guarantee approval or acceptance. The fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including withdrawal or cancellation, rejection or deferral, failure to complete onboarding, or later termination of a merchant relationship.

3. Application Process

CRAC.Solutions reviews applications under its internal risk, compliance and underwriting procedures and may accept or decline an application at its sole discretion without an obligation to give reasons. Applicants must provide true, complete and accurate information and supporting documentation.

4. Retention of Information

Information, documentation and communications provided during the application may be retained regardless of outcome for legal, regulatory, compliance, audit or fraud-prevention purposes in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Materials need not be returned or destroyed unless required by law.

5. Payment Terms

The Application Fee must be paid before review begins in the currency specified at checkout or on the invoice. The Applicant is responsible for associated bank or transaction fees. A receipt or invoice may be issued after successful payment.

6. No Partnership or Guarantee

Accepting the Application Fee and reviewing the application creates no partnership, contractual relationship or commercial arrangement beyond these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

CRAC.Solutions is not liable for loss, cost or damage arising from submission, assessment or rejection, including loss of opportunity or goodwill.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland applicable therein.

Merchant Application Privacy Policy

1. Purpose

This policy explains how CITADEL RISK AND COMPLIANCE LIMITED collects, uses, retains and discloses personal and business information provided during merchant applications, including pre-application data.

2. Information We Collect

We collect business identification details; ownership and control information; financial and banking information; transaction and operational information; identification documents; and contact details for business representatives.

3. Use of Information

Information is used to assess applications, conduct KYC, KYB and AML due diligence, verify identity, prevent fraud, meet regulatory reporting and audit duties, and maintain business and risk-assessment records.

4. Retention

Application information may be retained whether an application is approved, rejected or withdrawn, for as long as required by law, regulation, internal compliance and audit policies, fraud prevention or dispute resolution. Information is not deleted solely because an application is rejected or withdrawn.

5. Disclosure

We may disclose application data to regulators or law-enforcement authorities where required, third-party compliance, verification or payment partners, and professional advisers or auditors under confidentiality duties. We do not sell or rent applicant information.

6. Data Security

Administrative, technical and physical safeguards are used to protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse, including encryption, access controls and secure storage.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of personal information by contacting our Privacy Officer. Some information cannot be deleted where retention is legally required.

8. Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version will be posted on our website.
